Dr. Smith not only performed revision hip surgery, but discovered that I had colbolt and chromium poisoning in my blood possibly saving my me a lot of pain and issues later in life. I am now without pain in my hip and will live a lot longer. Dr. Smith listened to my concerns and had excellent bedside manner.

Dr . Smith diagnosed my hip condition, and found that I had cobalt and chromium poisoning. He performed hip revision surgery, removing the old hip and replacing it with a new one. He was spot on with the diagnosis and the surgery was a complete success. He saved my life due to his diagnosis of the metal in my blood. Four months after total knee replacement with Dr. Eric L. Smith, I have achieved 125° flexion, going up and down stairs comfortably, and walking without pain. My recovery was smooth and rapid.
