Dr. Smith took my case after 4 others gave me no hope. 3 year old knee replacement left me unable to walk upstairs or ride a bike. Was told that I would need a walker in my 70's. I was 68 and a half when Dr. Smith took the case and said he would make my life better. Surgery was said to be much harder to recover from but within days I had a better range of motion. Pain was minimal and recovery was quick. Today I am 17 months from the revision and going to the gym everyday. Full range of motion and no pain. Truly a miracle for my wife and I. Dr. Smith is amazing and has a great staff. He also replaced my hip before the knee revision. Within weeks I was walking miles. I can't thank him and his complete staff enough. I would give him a 10 out of 10 if I could. I've sent probably 20 patients to him and all have had great success! Thank you Dr. Smith, you changed my life!

Dr. Smith preformed my surgery on May 14, 2026. My life is changed. I can now walk without pain. I attend PT twice a week. I have lost 16 pounds since surgery. I had no complications following surgery. I am so grateful to him for giving me my life back. Thank you.

Dr. Eric Smith performed my hip replacement about a year ago at the Dedham facility, and I can't praise him, and his staff enough for how satisfied I've been since!

I had consulted with 2 other Doctors about the condition of my knee. Neither Doctor seemed to "see"

said, when you can't do in life what you want to do, you should change the situation if you can. My knee replacement was 9+ weeks since my surgery. I already finished with PT 2 weeks ago and I'm back at the golf course. Dr, Smith did an incredible job, giving me my life back.

I had my second knee replaced four days ago. Just like with the first knee done four months ago, it was an excellent experience. Great care is provided by Dr Smith, his team and the hospital. It is painful of course but each day gets easier. I am grateful to the whole team of doctors and nurses at the Baptist!

Dr. Smith convey both his confidence and caring despite being a very busy surgeon. On October 25, 2019, Dr. Smith literally changed my life. My right knee was such that no orthopedic surgeon on the Cape would touch it. The joint was completely out of joint & walking was becoming extremely difficult. He took me on as a patient when no one else would and gave me a result that was a near miracle, and took care of me like I was his favorite aunt.
